All in all, it was chilled-out base for travelling to Popayan. The hotel stuff were absolutely amazing and amazing. The venue was set in the central position adjacent to the center of the town, great restaurants and cafes and the bus station. We enjoyed the breakfast.

I had a fantastic time at Lienzo during my recent stay. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, even accommodating me with a private room when I had booked a dorm. The hostel has a unique and artistic vibe, with beautiful paintings and photographs throughout. The on-site tattoo studio was a bonus, and I couldn't resist getting a tattoo from Sebastian. The location was perfect for exploring the city, right in the heart of everything. I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy everything Lienzo has to offer.

The rooms at Lienzo Hostel are cozy and comfortable, with bed linen provided. As a vegetarian/vegan guest, having a safe and clean space to rest is important to me.

Personally, I found the shared bathroom a bit inconvenient. However, others might not mind it and appreciate the opportunity to meet fellow travelers.

I had an amazing experience at Araracuara Hostel in Popayan. the atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. They even organized a free salsa lesson which was fantastic! the hostel had beautiful paintings on the walls and a great location. the host, Juan, was really nice and gave me lots of advice about things to do in Popayan. the hostel was centrally located and had a good atmosphere. It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Fantastic food, wonderful location, exceptional staff. Instantly felt welcomed and at peace after a long bus journey and losing my phone. Tea and phone logistics sorted promptly, with helpful information from owner. Art within adds to the experience. Had a great time after a tough journey.

Nearby is the Museo de Historia Natural, just a few steps away, and right in front is the Malabar Restaurante Cafe, where you can enjoy a wonderful dinner. 🍽️
